include 'Rasha' & 'Streakie' our
two
Kune Kune pigs (Kune Kune are a New Zealand breed and very friendly);
'Alfie' and 'Archie' our very tame miniature donkeys who love to be
petted by the children, 'Apache' our skewbald donkey; 'Pete' our
Dartmoor Heritage Pony, born and raised at Widecombe-in-the-Moor;
'Bertie' our young English Pointer (he loves to say hello);
'Lily', 'Patrick', and 'Daisy' our rabbits;
'Peanut' our colourful peacock; 'Will' and 'Grace' our two
fluffy pussy cats; our
very pretty Alpacas - Rufus and Waldo born 2006/7, who we hope will
keep the fox away; several sheep (they keep the grass cut); and then
there are all our chickens and ducks that have free range of Knowle
Farm (they go from cottage to cottage hoping to be fed). We also
sometimes have chicks or ducklings and often lambs in
the spring/early summer. |
