Heated indoor pool. Our indoor heated pool measures 34 feet by 17 feet and has gentle steps into the shallow end. With the six large south facing patio windows that overlook the pond and countryside you can enjoy swimming all year at Knowle Farm and on finer days with the outside decking area you will be able to stretch out in the sun between dips in the pool. Swimming lessons with a fully qualified instructor are also available (see further down). Indoor Soft Play area purpose built for children aged five and under with ball pool (1,500 balls!) slide, tunnels, loft house and other toys. Tennis Court - outdoor overlooking the pond and countryside. Pool Table - for 'adult children' and under 15's playing with adults. Table tennis (indoors next to soft play area). Wooden play unit with towers, walkway, swings, ladders, ropes and slide. Baby sitting can often be arranged so you can enjoy an evening out. Booking in advance of your holiday is recommended (police checked sitter). Childrens TV channels CBBC and CBeebies in all cottages. Or you can simply relax and watch the animals and wildlife around the pond. Trout fishing - the river may be narrow but they have been caught - even with fly. Better still there is a local fishery in Rattery for serious fishing. Barbecues are available in season along with outdoor furniture - you can pick your spot to eat, looking out over the pond or down by the river. Excellent unspoilt local pub - 11th century Inn with masses of character offering lunch and evening meals (children welcomed). Lovely garden for fine days. Swimming lessons - for you or your children. If you would like help to learn to swim or to improve your technique or confidence in the water, for yourself or any children aged 2 and over, then we can offer personal 30 minute lessons in our own heated pool by a qualified Amateur Swimming Association teacher who lives locally and is a Fellow of the Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches.
