Luxury in the heart of South Devon

Nestled on the doorstep
of the majestic Dartmoor National Park and just 30 minutes from fantastic sandy beaches, Knowle Farm is perfectly situated to let you enjoy all that this lovely region has to offer.

Our luxuriously appointed four star cottages have been equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay, and our great range of facilities and friendly farm animals will ensure that you and your children will never get bored.
Animals Galore

Let your child feed a pig, stroke a donkey, meet a sheep and hear a cockerel crow. Don’t forget the ducks and peacock - just open your cottage door and they'll be waiting to be fed.

Take a stroll and meet Rasha, Streakie and Pork, our three Kune Kune Pigs; or Alfie and Archie, our two miniature donkeys; or Apache, our Skewbald Donkey, and his pal Pete, our Dartmoor Pony. The sheep and alpacas help to keep the grass cut as they wander around the pond and river whilst buzzards soar above.

This is Knowle Farm - a paradise for little children and animal lovers alike.

Fantastic Facilities

Go for a dip in our indoor heated pool or play tennis overlooking wonderful country views.

Our purpose built indoor soft play area with ball pool and lots of fun toys is incredibly popular with the little ones. In the same room are table tennis and a pool table, so the grown-ups can have fun too.

KNOWLE NEWS!
Olympic torch route
On Sunday 20th May the Olympic torch will be travelling through several locations nearby to us, including Totnes (10 mins drive), Torquay and  Paignton (both 25 mins drive).

Solar power
We're determined to have as little impact on the environment as possible at Knowle Farm, and to help us achieve this we have just had a 10KW Solar PV system installed which on a sunny day can provide enough electricity for the whole farm (cottages included). To see what else we're doing to be green click here and scroll down.

New arrivals
We have adopted four young guinea pigs who were in need of a home, their names are Crash, Eddie, Zac and Ludo. They're very cute and love eating chunks of celery and carrot.
Other recent arrivals are five former battery hens, here
to enjoy a new and free life. Until they came to Knowle Farm they had never walked on grass or seen sunlight. They are looking much happier and healthier !!!
