The Knowle News blog highlights news from the farm and upcoming events in the local area
Our sheep have been busy lambing over the last few weeks and all the babies are now old enough to go outside each day. After a long night in the barn they're very happy to get out on the grass in the sun!
Our newest additions to the farm are two turkeys, male (Sprout) and female (Tallulah). They make great noises and the male in particular loves to show off his 'beautiful' face, neck and feathers.
Our semi-resident Canada Geese have once again diligently sat on our pond island for several weeks and have been rewarded with seven little goslings. They'll roam around the pond for a few months while they grow up, under the constant supervision of both their parents.
Strike a pose...

These ewes have been separated from the rest of the flock so that they can 'socialise' with a soon to be arriving ram. With any luck we'll have some lambs running around by the end of March. Here they are this morning waiting patiently for their visitor to arrive.
